Special Offer For Schools

We are offering schools a free sustainability workshop to the value of $2,700 with any energy upgrade, including solar panels and/or lighting upgrade.

CERES have been implementing the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative, Victoria (AuSSI Vic) in over 400 schools since 2001. The program involves interactive, hands-on and student action-based activities to educate schools on ways to plan and implement sustainable practices, while developing student leadership skills, enriching the curriculum and achieving green solutions for the whole school community. The workshop will be conducted at your school, the objective being to educate your school in sustainability activities that focus on social, economic and environmental issues locally and globally. The student activities are appropriately pitched and interspersed with the relevant information to challenged student thinking.

These sessions can not only support or kick-start your Sustainable program, they can also be incorporated into a range of VELS domains in order to give your students an insight into sustainability education. The activities have been developed in conjunction with Environment Education in Early Childhood (EEEC).
