Our electricians in Melbourne tackle community housing upgradeJanuary 31, 2018
When Active Community Housing needed help recently with electrical work at one of their properties, they called in trusted electricians in Melbourne to tackle the problems quickly.
And that’s us – Alert Electrical. We take great pride in meeting the needs of all our clients promptly and professionally, completing work to a high standard with every job we accept. That’s the way we work and that’s why clients keep coming back.
And it was no different with the Active Community Housing project. After picking up the keys in Preston, our experienced electricians carried out a range of improvements on the Melbourne property including priority work on an oven.
Other work included carrying out a thorough electrical inspection and replacing smoke detectors with rechargable options, repairing lights, tightening ceiling fans and replacing the air conditioner’s remote control. We also supplied and installed a new weather-proof power point for the hot water service.
Active has been around for more than 20 years and fulfils the important role of providing affordable rental housing and tenancy support for people including those with disabilities, mental illness and low incomes.
The organisation helps people with disabilities who need support to live safely and with independence in the community, giving tenants the opportunity to become involved and part of the community that surrounds them.
As the only registered housing agency that is solely committed to providing affordable housing for people with disabilities, as well as their families, they manage many houses across Victoria.
So when they call us, saying they need our Melbourne electricians’ help, we don’t muck around. We’re there to assist and work hard to find a swift solution to their problems.
Whether it’s a faulty oven, an outdated smoke detector or a wobbly overhead fan, we are always quick to carefully assess the situation and then carry out necessary repairs and upgrades to meet Active’s needs and ensure safety standards remain high.
